Recover From A Disaster With Calm, Practical Help Your Local Restoration Team in South East Queensland
We’ve Seen And Serviced It All.
The fact that you are searching for a disaster restorer means you already have a lot on your plate. We deal with disasters daily, and we want you to rest assured knowing our own trained team is looking after your property carefully and professionally.
For you, a water damage, fire damage or mould problem is a stressful disaster. To us, it’s all in a day’s work, and we’re happy to help!
Our team has successfully restored thousands of water damaged, fire damaged and mould affected properties for the commercial, insurance and residential market. From a burst pipe in a single-family home to flooding in a building with 56 affected apartments, we’ve helped customers handle all sorts of situations.
Great question! The best thing you can do is promptly attend to the water damage emergency! We want to start the extraction and drying process to limit secondary damage as soon as possible.
Did you know? The property owner’s insurance policy typically includes a clause that places an obligation on you (the property owner) to take action to reduce any further damages that could be caused by flooding?
So, in the event of a water damage loss (pipe break, etc.) or flood, proper and timely drying and mitigation are necessary to stop secondary water damage and protect you from penalties from your own insurance company.
Also, insurance companies often work with their list of “preferred” water restoration companies. The problem is that the “preferred” companies are more concerned with keeping the insurance provider happy (by cutting costs) rather than fully taking care of your problem.
We pride ourselves on being a customer-first company! That means we care about you and your needs, first and foremost.
So, after shutting off your water, you should immediately call us! By bringing in a reputable and professional water damage restoration company that is certified by the IICRC, you can relax knowing everything is being done to prevent secondary damage.
At Reztor Restoration, we’ll also take care of any documents your insurance company may need. We create and send a detailed report to your insurance company that provides everything they need for your claim. It also proves that you did your part.
Plus, by picking your own water damage restoration company, you won’t be forced to work with an insurance “preferred company” that may leave you even more frustrated than before.
Did you know? Sometimes an item may feel dry to the touch, but the moisture content is still too high, meaning it isn’t dry entirely?
For example, think about a time when you’ve done laundry, and you pulled out a pair of pants that felt dry because they were warm, but a few hours later, you reach for them, and they are damp. Imagine how much water and moisture could be trapped under your carpet, in your walls, or behind your trim. You probably can’t see or feel the water, but it’s there!
Items in your home may hold moisture within them, which isn’t apparent at the first touch. Yet, we make sure your property is dry properly. That’s because drying is a science! We don’t have to rely on guesswork, thanks to our specialised restoration tools that tell us the exact moisture content of any item.
In addition, we monitor the drying process with advanced moisture testing and thermal imaging. As a result, we take moisture readings before we finish drying and talk you through the results.
Call the Reztor team immediately! If your carpet is not dried sufficiently, there is a high chance that your carpet will start to smell, and mould will develop in as little as 24 hours.
It is always necessary to act as quickly as possible as mould can pose severe health threats. The carpet will not dry out by itself no matter how many windows you open or fans you put on it. And no, a wet vac won’t fix it – specialised equipment is required. So it is best to call Reztor Restoration as soon as possible.
Our work involves extracting the water and installing top-of-the-line, professional-grade carpet drying equipment to remove all moisture from the walls, carpet, underlay, and sub-floor to try to save your Aroona property before it’s too late. We specialise in wet carpet drying, so there’s a good chance we will be able to save your carpet, so you don’t have to replace it
Yes! Thankfully, with today’s technology advancements, specialised drying equipment and techniques allow us to dry the affected areas without removing your carpet and underlay.
A side benefit of drying your carpet from top to bottom is that it reduces the risk of shrinkage and further damage. If your carpet is wet and you pile on the wetness underneath it, your carpet will never dry properly. In addition, if the moisture is trapped between the layers of underlay, the drying process will be slower, thus causing a longer recovery time.
All water damage situations in Aroona are unique and should be assessed to determine the best course of action. Generally speaking, the first step is to extract the freestanding water using professional-grade equipment.
We then apply antimicrobial chemicals to the carpet to reduce/prevent any bacterial and mould growth. Finally, specialised equipment is installed to complete the drying process. The equipment will be left running overnight to ensure that the carpet is dried thoroughly.
The first step you should take is to prevent or reduce further flooding. You can do this by identifying the source of water, and if possible, shutting the main valve off while waiting for Reztor. We can be onsite in Aroona for emergency water removal — call to confirm availability.
It’s important not to wait around to find out what kind of damage your property in Aroona could suffer from due to flooding. Loss of revenue and decrease in property value, structural damage, microbial growth are just a few effects of delaying protective measures by even a few hours.
Water extraction is necessary, and it is a task of primary importance when dealing with flooding or water damage incidents. Most people, however, are unaware of the risks associated with water extraction.
The dangers involved are creating a path to drain water and exposing the extraction area to bacteria and mould. Most importantly, water extraction is necessary only if it improves the quality of your property’s restoration, not just to get rid of wetness.
In these cases, don’t risk getting yourself exposed to these dangers. Instead, call our team to deal with it immediately to minimise risk from these dangers.
Help is available around the clock, 24/7. Call us any time of the week, and we’ll talk you through the next steps and arrange a technician.
We have 24/7 phone support so that you can reach us whenever it’s most convenient for you, which is what we aim to achieve.
Letting your Aroona property dry out on its own is NOT a good option. Mould could grow on your items, and building materials can swell and rot when you do an improper drying job.
Avoid these issues by hiring experts who know what they’re doing, like Reztor.
Before we start drying, we first conduct a thorough and detailed assessment. We also prepare the necessary paperwork before and while we work.
You’ll save money when you get specialists who have the right tools and knowledge for the job. That is because further damage to your properties that could lead you to throw them away is prevented, and the integrity of what remains is preserved.
Absolutely! Our in-house technicians have the proper training and are assigned to the job you request.
A project manager supervises these technicians who keep tabs on what work is done and when. They work as a team and are adaptable, friendly, and highly knowledgeable on all things restoration and repair.
The project manager we assign for each specific case handles client information.
It ensures that your information is taken care of and organised for easy access for your convenience.
Further, our company insists on being transparent with you during the whole restoration process, from start to finish. We’ll explain whatever we do and keep you updated on our progress.
Call Reztor to confirm current availability and expected arrival. Timing depends on your location, safe access and current demand; a fixed one-hour arrival is not guaranteed. Share your address, the affected areas and any access restrictions so our team can plan the response.
Before our professional can come in to take charge of your water damage situation, make sure to consider the weather could help or antagonise the drying efforts that will take place. Do check if rain could find itself indoors. Shut off the water at the source or minimise the amount of water that could get to your carpet.
If you have them available and cannot take out your carpet from where it is, place fans and dehumidifiers in the area where the carpet lies. That is done to promote air circulation and air evaporation. Thus, it will help your wet carpet dry quicker.
Also, consider whether your carpet has padding underneath and check if it is saturated with moisture. When this padding gets wet, mould spores may also attach to it and make it home. Mould can multiply exponentially overnight when not dealt with as soon as possible. Remove the said padding and let it dry if possible.
Do not use a regular home vacuum cleaner to suck up the water. Likely, the vacuum you have is not the kind that is used for water suction.
Do these preliminary steps so you can minimise the damage done to your carpet when faced with water damage emergencies.
Considering that every job is different, a turnaround time of 3-4 days is an average for our flood clean-up service.
We are a local restoration company in Aroona available 24/7. We will confirm expected arrival when you call based on your location, access and current demand.

There are three types of water: clean water, greywater, and black water.
A primary task of technicians is to identify the type of water present in the affected areas. Knowing the kind of water at play can adequately assess and anticipate the type of damage it could potentially cause and the necessary equipment that he should use.
Clean water originates from a potable (drinking) source. It is entirely safe to use and can be used without any concern. That is why it is best to use it in water damage emergencies.
Greywater comes from the kitchen sink and bathroom washbasin. It contains soap, shampoo, detergents, and other contaminated materials similar to clean water in terms of sanitation but not for everyday usage.
Blackwater comes from the toilet or urinal. It is highly unsanitary and should only be used for handling greywater tasks. That is why you must not use it in the kitchen or bathroom.
Yes. Different kinds of water cause different kinds of damage. Water that is free of sewage and harmful toxins causes clean water damage. That type of damage is the least severe.
On the other hand, water spewed from appliances and fixtures such as washing machines, toilets, and pumps cause grey water damage. Direct contact with greywater poses some harm to humans. To be disinfected before reuse, it may be necessary to remove any affected items by greywater.
Water that involves sewage, floodwater, ocean water, including water from other natural sources, which could cause extreme damage, both structural and microbial causes black water damage. It would be best to act fast when dealing with black water. Disinfection of the affected areas and items will be necessary when dealing with black water damage.
The team will first conduct an initial inspection once they arrive. Our team can then set an action plan upon gathering the necessary information. In addition, we will make estimates and give you a quotation for works that they deem necessary. Once approved, we will immediately prevent secondary damage such as mould and bacteria.
Aside from floods, your property in Aroona is at risk to suffer water damage from other causes. These causes include, but are not limited to, burst pipe, pipe leakage, appliance mishap, faulty fire sprinkler system, to name a few.
Our team of professionals can adequately assess your property to determine the cause of water damage and what is needed to repair it. We also compare the kind of damage you are getting with the kind of repairs we will do, which will help you determine a better solution for your problem.
Specialised equipment is necessary to work with different kinds of water. It is not well known, but the fact is that water is prone to contamination of life-threatening bacteria, mould, or toxins from metal corrosion.
It is best to know what you are dealing with before attempting anything. By hiring Reztor, you are ensured of your family’s safety and your property. Your property is in good hands with us. Our team is well-trained to assess your problem and give you a safe and cost-effective solution.
Visible and internal structural damage and microbial growth are some kinds of damage that await property that isn’t taken care of at once. Delaying protective measures by even a few hours could aggravate damage to your property in the long term. Time is of the essence when you’re up against flooding.
Several health risks may also arise because of this for you, your family, or your business. However, you can avoid health dangers by preparing for flood events.
You stand to suffer potential losses that you might not be able to afford and a decrease in the property’s value when you delay protective measures by even a few hours once your property in Aroona is hit and submerged in flood. That can cause irreversible structural damage to your property. Like mould and mildew growth, health risks could also arise from this mishap.
Don’t take that risk! Have specialists that could take the necessary steps to clean up the mess left by floods.
A project manager is on the job for every job to keep tabs. It’s our way to make sure you know what work is done and how much you’ll be charged. You won’t pay any hidden charges when Reztor is on the case. Reztor offers diverse options to improve efficiency without sacrificing quality.
Unless you’re a certified water damage restorer and have the necessary tools and specialised equipment needed for the job, you’re better off hiring Reztor.
Our technicians have the necessary training and experience to deal with whatever water damage issue you may have. In addition, we could do a more efficient job at drying your carpets. As a result, you could avoid causing unnecessary harm to your belongings when you hire Reztor for the job.
The answer might surprise you. Flooding due to a burst pipe or during pipe fittings is the most common cause of flooding in Aroona. Meanwhile, flooding due to rain is less common by comparison.
Flooding is more likely to happen when your property has poor drainage or poorly installed plumbing or structures. Fixing pipe leaks and not letting other problems happen could diminish the chances of flooding.
