Can I report damage after hours?
We operate 24/7. Call 1800 739 867, explain that it is a managed property and describe the incident. Response arrangements depend on location, current demand and the scale of the damage.
How are tenants and owners kept informed?
Discuss the communication arrangements at the start. Nominate the main contact, who should receive updates and any permissions or access restrictions relevant to sharing information.
What if damage may extend into another lot?
Tell us which lots or common areas may be involved. Access and assessment requirements need to be discussed with the relevant contacts; the restoration scope depends on the findings.
Who authorises and pays for the work?
Confirm this with the person or organisation engaging Reztor before work starts. Management responsibility, ownership and insurance cover are separate matters. Do not assume that lodging a claim means an insurer has approved payment.
Can you provide records for the property file?
Discuss the reporting requirements when arranging the work. Relevant records may include photographs, moisture information, the agreed scope, progress and completion notes.
Can you coordinate with our preferred trades?
Tell us which trades are involved and what work they are carrying out. We can discuss restoration access and sequencing around source repairs and other agreed works.
